We know exactly how you feel.  You’re only one person.  What can you possibly do to actually help this growing epidemic of homelessness?

A couple of quid for a sandwich or a latte is a short term fix.  And what about the next five homeless people you encounter?  Guilt means you look over their heads because you can’t give to them all, right?

You haven’t had a pay rise in years and inflation has gone up so you’re stretched yourself.

What about if we really knew how to help?  Something that they really needed to make them more comfortable in their current situation or maybe even something to help them climb the ladder and off the streets!  Maybe they need a police check before they can apply for a job.  Maybe they need a suit for an interview.  An impossible task for a homeless person who just needs to get through today and get money to eat.  Not an impossible task for us though...if we club together!  Together, maybe we could sponsor the less fortunate soul off the streets!   

That’s what we thought!

We are 3 friends who were, like you, having these thoughts individually until chance conversations sparked off Sponsored Souls.

The idea:

We ask the homeless to share their stories via video.  You click on and engage with the ads around the videos and then share with your friends and family.  The advertising revenue that is generated from your engagement gets collected by us and we buy whatever the person in the video wants to help them be more comfortable or to help them off the streets.  

CARING IS SHARING

Alongside that, we will generate a Just Giving page for the individual so if you want to contribute a few quid instead of/as well as a cuppa to help them to their target quicker then you can.
