Samsara

Birth

Voices muted; calming seas. World is Oyster; Pearl is me.

Locked away; I am the key. Thoughts, the torch to help me see.

I am King Universe, ordained and crowned;

Here Time She lies still and Space He is bound;

Breathing is easy for those who are drowned;

Where the Beating Drum is the only sound,

Infinity passes; my mass grows strong and fast,

But with infinite time, something goes wrong at last…

The Universal nightmare goes something like this:

While asleep on the flight toward Blissful Abyss

Tightening turbulence, while preparing to land,

Shaken awake, controls in hand.

Alone in the cockpit, now blinded by light,

The first thing we feel is true fight or flight

The plasmatic pillow tightens its grip,

Impenetrable fortress, light has now ripped,

Crash is certain; no evacuation procedure,

So much to learn; no manual nor teacher,

Silence no more, beyond the door passengers scream,

Turning, squirming, pain is confirming no escape from this dream.

Windows show cracks; hostile air dances in,

Choking my soul, caressing my skin.

The gloved hand of God; the string to our thread,

Envelops our Being by clasping our head,

Besieged now by foes - outflanked and ambushed,

A pincer movement; as I’m pulled and I’m pushed

Eternal snooze to maternal ooze

Awakened, confused, cold, abused,

Crescendo of shrieks, fluids and strife,

Evicted outright by order of Life,

From passenger to pilot, parasite from host,

My body is passed from pillar to post,

I gasp at thin air, suspended in space,

Placed on a chest, I look up at her face.

Life - coming soon
